Who we are
ATEEC (registered legal name: Ahmad Abdulaziz Hassan & Partner Co.) is a Jordanian general partnership established in 2004 and headquartered in Amman, Jordan. The firm is registered under PIC 900797000, commercial registration No. 73400, and holds professional license No. 14629 issued by the Greater Amman Municipality.
ATEEC is led by Prof. Dr. Emad Al-Karablieh, Managing Partner and Professor of Water and Environmental Economics in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Management, Faculty of Agriculture, at the University of Jordan. Under his leadership, ATEEC has grown from an academic-linked consultancy into a recognised regional actor connecting Jordanian and Arab institutions with European and international research and donor programmes.
Our positioning
ATEEC is deliberately structured as a coordinating hub for multidisciplinary expert teams rather than a conventional fixed-staff consulting firm. Its foundation is a stable core of expertise in water and environmental economics, investment analysis, governance and agricultural systems, extended through specialised professionals in engineering, renewable energy, climate science, geospatial analysis, digital platforms and decision-support systems.
This structure allows ATEEC to assemble integrated teams capable of addressing the full pathway from technical innovation and field implementation to performance monitoring, economic assessment, market deployment, financing, governance and long-term replication. The model combines scientific independence and specialist expertise with practical project coordination and direct accountability for quality, delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Within international consortia, ATEEC typically acts as the partner responsible for stakeholder co-design and societal readiness, socioeconomic and market evidence, business and financing models, policy uptake and replication, while contributing directly to site characterisation, field validation, decision-support testing, training and exploitation.
